BRAKE INSEPECTION

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
On 9/24/21 , I go my Impala serviced for an oil change and I thought it was required to check the brakes and tires included with this service as they have in the past. So where do we go from to have this done. I live 50 miles from this dealer, so it's exactly around the corner from me.

Preferred solution: Free brake & tire inspection, hopefully at one of their other dealers closer to me. I live in South Lyon, Mi.

Al Serra Chevrolet - Car Pick Up Review from Colorado Springs, Colorado

Called one day to ask about getting a pick up didn't want to come in that day because it is 30 min or more from my home, was convinced to run a "pre-approval" over the phone was told I would get a call back....no call. Next day no call..... so I call. Get a bunch of apologies a promise of a call back. Was also told that they were sure they could get me in the type of vehicle I was looking for in the price range I was looking at. They will call me RIGHT back. 2 hours later again I call. More apologies. Spoke with finance managers, general managers and 2 salesmen. All assuring me after reviewing my credit report that what I was looking for was totally doable. Yet another day later finally someone calls me back. Basically says yep come on in let's look at the vehicle you have to trade and see what we can give you for it. Spent 30 plus min driving there, we meet with the general manager who blows us off to the 2nd sales person i had spoken to who takes us to the used lot and drops us off there and leaves us.... with no one. Yet another sales rep talks to us gets us keys to the truck we were interested in. Here we think all the credit work has been done we just need to see how much our trade is worth....half a day later they "run the numbers" over $150 more a month than I was told it would be, asked for or could afford. By this time (5pm) it's too late for the banks to get back with them with the "real numbers". They showed a complete and utter lack of business integrity, or personal integrity. They had no respect for our time or the money spent to drive up. And the poor excuse of "someone dropped the ball" just added to the poor customer service.

They lowball price your trade in despite advertising

I recently traded an '09 Chrysler product in on a new '13 Dodge product. All on line sources--Edmonds, Kelly, etc. said with the condition and mileage my vehicle had it was worth $13,000. And when they appraised my vehicle they didn't even TELL me what they offered, just proceeded to type the deal up. When i found i was offered $7000 ("rough") price, and got irritable and mentioned it then suddenly my offer went to a reasonable and fair $11,700 for the "above average" condition mine was in. My question: EVERY TIME in the past i've tried buying a vehicle there they do NOT live up to ad claim "highest trade in allowance"; they LOWBALL you by 5000 dollars? Is THAT any way to make a happy customer? I'll be sure Chrysler knows about it.

Do Not Buy

Al serra dealership of colorado springs, co. They do bad buisness, and are very unproffesional. They sale cars that have major problems and need to be fixed. When you purchase a car and something is wrong with it in 30 days they say they'll fix it but don't. You sit around waiting for hours not being informed of whats going on. They charge a down payment when you may not need one. They run your credit to as many as 30+ banks. They are rude to customers. Don't buy there cars and dont reccommend anyone you know. You'll be sorry!
